Flyers Launch New Learn-To-Play Youth Hockey Program

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Flyers have partnered with nine hockey rinks in the region to launch the Flyers Rookie Program.

The program is six weeks long to teach first-time youth hockey players how to play the game, while also focusing on skills like teamworks, responsbility, and respect. Participants will get free Flyers-branded equipment that they can keep.

The program is open to boys and girls ages four through eight-years-old.
