Interview: Workaholics Ready To Celebrate At Stratus Rooftop Lounge In Philadelphia

By Michael Cerio

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Stratus Rooftop Lounge atop Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia is celebrating their fourth anniversary this weekend with the help of Blake Anderson and Anders Holm of Comedy Central’s Workaholics. The two will be “DJing” a party overlooking Independence Mall this Saturday September 24th.

“Yeah, we’re really pushing the play button and doing whatever else is possible on these machines,” explains Anderson, aka DJ Uncle Blazer.

“I’m trying to just live through what Steve Jobs’ dream was, and that’s for people who couldn’t figure out how to be real DJs, to be DJs,” adds DJ Ango, also known as Anders Holm.

Workaholics just wrapped their 6th season on Comedy Central, with plans in the works for a 7th and final season next year.

We hopped on a conference call this week with Anderson and Holm to see what we can expect from the event on Saturday. You can check out the full conversation below:
