Traffic Problems As President Obama Stumps For Clinton In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- President Obama is stumping for Hillary Clinton this afternoon with a speech in front of the Art Museum.

His visit is causing traffic troubles with closures and detours starting earlier this morning.

There is no traffic at the Oval, with metal barricades set up along the perimeter. A strong police and secret service presence in and around the Art Museum.

The lot, right in front of the Museum, has been transformed with a stage surrounded by bleachers and American flags.

Among those waiting for hours for secret service to start screening and let them in is Carl from Philadelphia. He says the President's words today won't sway him, he's supporting Hillary Clinton after all, but Obama's impact may be felt elsewhere.

"There's gonna be people watching all over the nation, all over the world and hopefully he may be able to change some people's minds or impact how they will ultimately vote.

With President Obama set for a DNC fundraser in the city after his speech, traffic troubles could hang around as Campaign 2016 rolls through Philadelphia.
