WATCH: Carson Wentz Throws First NFL TD Pass On First Drive

By Ryan Mayer

Eagles fans were excited to see what rookie #2 overall draft pick Carson Wentz could do in his first NFL start against the Cleveland Browns. It didn’t take long for him to hear cheers from the Birds faithful as he led the Eagles on a nine play, 75-yard drive that ended with Wentz picking up his first career touchdown pass to wide receiver Jordan Matthews.

Wentz got some help on the drive from tight end Zach Ertz who made this ridiculous one handed grab for a first down to get the Eagles into Browns territory.

Wentz looked good on his first drive, Eagles fans hope that type of play continues from their QB of the future.
