Police Looking For Suspect Who Stole Menorah From Front Lawn Of Phila. Synagogue

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police are looking for a suspect caught on surveillance video stealing a Menorah from the front lawn of a local synagogue.

Officials say around 3 a.m. on August 20, several unknown persons were captured on video walking east on Tomlinson Road. One of the suspects can be seen running across the street and taking a religious Menorah from the front lawn of Congregation Beth Solomon Synagogue & Community Center on the 100 block of Tomlinson Road.

Authorities say after the suspect took the Menorah, they ran back with the group and continued walking east on Tomlinson.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect from the video or has information about the incident is being asked to call Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153.
