Reward Doubles In Shooting That Killed Camden Girl

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) - The reward for information leading to the conviction of the people responsible for killing an eight-year-old Camden girl more than doubles.

Several community groups are pitching in to help find those responsible.

Thanks to the Norcross family, the founders of CSMI, and the firm Packetalk, the reward leading to the arrest and conviction of little Gabrielle Carter's killer has jumped from $25,000 to $50,000.

Gabby died after being shot by a stray bullet last Wednesday.

Saturday night, neighbors attending her vigil asked for help finding her killers.

"I'm pleading, I'm asking, I'm begging, if you know something that will bring justice, come forth.

The founders of CSMI manage Camden Community Charter School, where Gabby was about to enter third grade, are also paying for her funeral.
