NJ Officer Charged With Official Misconduct
MONROE Twp., NJ (CBS) -- A Monroe Township, New Jersey police officer has been charged with official misconduct.
The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office says 29 year-old Robert Marzi is accused of promising to assist a defendant with her criminal charges in exchange for sexual favors.
Marzi has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the case.
Given the charges against him, the prosecutor's office is reviewing Marzi's past arrests.
He was released after posting $25,000 bail.
