Clinton Makes History Again At NABJ/NAHJ Event
WASHINGTON, DC (CBS) - Hillary Clinton's meeting at the first joint convention hosted by The National Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists made history as the largest press conference ever before journalists of color.
The democratic presidential nominee began with a brief statement and then took questions from a panel of Black and Latino journalists.
She told he group of nearly 1,000 in attendance that immigration would be a high priority for her administration, estimated the creation of more than 10 million jobs in four years, and promised there would be investment in Black and Latino communities.
"Too often journalists of color do not get the opportunity to participate."
She also clarified her response to continued questions over her use of email while working as Secretary of State.

"This is a great opportunity," she reiterated.
An estimated 4,000 journalists attended the joint convention.
