Gas Main Struck In Clifton Heights

CLIFTON HEIGHTS, Pa. (CBS) -- A natural gas main was struck in Clifton Heights this morning.

The incident took place on the 300 block of East Berkley Avenue shortly after 9 a.m.

PECO officials say a paving contractor struck a two inch gas main. They say no customers were impacted.

The leak had been contained by 10 a.m. but crews remain on the scene as a precaution.

No injuries were reported.
