2 Charged For Deer Parts Seized From Pennsylvania Restaurant

LITITZ, Pa. (AP) — A married couple from central Pennsylvania is accused of illegally possessing deer parts at a restaurant they owned after an investigation prompted by a complaint about venison being sold from a vehicle in New York City.

Pennsylvania wildlife officials last week issued 15 citations against 54-year-old Shi Lu Eng, accusing her of illegally transporting deer to sell in New York.

Eng and her 66-year-old husband, Chun Dwong Eng, are both charged with possession of deer parts intended for sale.

Wildlife Conservation Officer Greg Graham says there's evidence the Engs have been collecting deer parts discarded outside butcher shops for the past couple years.

Graham seized hundreds of pounds of deer from the restaurant in December, including brains, skinned tails and legs.

The Engs' defense lawyers weren't listed in court documents.
