Le'Veon Bell To Miss Game Vs. Eagles, If Suspension Holds

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell is expected to be suspended for four-games for violating the NFL's drug policy, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano.

Graziano reports the suspension comes as a result of a missed drug test, not a failed one.

The appeals process is on-going, but if Bell's suspension stands he will miss the Steelers' first four-games of 2016, including the team's Week 3 matchup with the Eagles in Philadelphia.

Bell, 24, was arrested for possession of marijuana and DUI in 2014 and consequently suspended for the first three games of 2015. Ultimately, that suspension was reduced to two games.

After tallying 556 yards on the ground and 136 in the air in six games following his suspension last season, Bell underwent knee surgery to repair his MCL and PCL ending his season.

In 2014, Bell rushed for 1,361 yards, second most in the NFL. He also led all NFL running backs in receptions and receiving yards with 83 catches for 854 yards.
