Phillies Search For Offense As They Battle Marlins Again Tonight

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It has been a struggle for the Phillies in the first five games after the MLB All-Star Break.

The Phillies are just 1-4 since returning to action. The pitching has been good, the problem really has been at the plate. The Phillies have scored just 10 runs in the last five games, and just three runs in their last three contests (all losses). Last night, the Phillies fell to Miami in extra innings for a second straight game, the Marlins winning 2-1 in 10.

Jeremy Hellickson will get the call on the mound for the Phillies tonight. The veteran right-hander is 6-7 with a 4.03 ERA. He lost to the Mets in his last start despite pitching solid baseball, allowing four runs in six innings of work. Hellickson has made two starts against Miami this season, going 1-0 with a 3.97 ERA in 11 1/3 innings.

Miami will counter with left-hander Wei-Yin Chen. He is 5-3 in 2016 with an ERA of 4.90. He's made two starts against the Phillies this season, going 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA in 11 innings.

Here is the lineup for the Phillies tonight:

1. Peter Bourjos CF
2. Tyler Goeddel LF
3. Maikel Franco 3B
4. Tommy Joseph 1B
5. Carlos Ruiz C
6. Jimmy Paredes RF
7. Freddy Galvis SS
