Gordon Ramsay Refurbishes Iconic Bucks County Hotel
BUCKS COUNTY (CBS) -- An iconic old hotel and restaurant in Newtown, Bucks County will be featured tonight on the latest episode of 'Hotel Hell.'
Gordon Ramsay did indeed shut down the Brick Hotel to make some much needed renovations.
Virenda Kaur with her two co-owners butted heads with the famous restaurateur for several days.
"It was a little dated," Kaur said. "We had wallpaper and some carpeting, things like that, from a different era."
She said there were some topics they struggled to see eye-to-eye on.
"There was some disagreements. I agreed with him that the way we were operating could be different."
She said Ramsay also gave her hell about the way she ran the restaurant.
"I'm a little tough and he asked me to mellow and be nice to the staff."
Kaur said they'll be watching the show at the Brick, and other nearby taverns are holding viewing parties.
She said he tore up a lot of things that management thought were charming
