62-Year-Old Woman Killed In Chester County Home; Police Investigating
CHESTER COUNTY (CBS) -- Denise Barger, 62, of Chester County was found dead in her home Friday morning.
District Attorney Thomas Hogan said the victim, a recent widow, died of blunt force trauma. Hogan said the case is being investigated as a homicide.
Friday morning a family member went to her home on the 900 block of Heatherstone Drive to check in on the woman. The family member found her body and immediately contacted the police.
Township police and county detectives are investigating, and Hogan is asking anyone with information about the case to call detectives at 610-344-6866 or the Tredyffrin Police Department at 610-644-3221.
