DNC Guide: Lodging In Philadelphia

Philadelphia is hosting the Democratic National Convention July 25-28 and the City of Brotherly Love offers dozens of lodging options. Some advice for booking is to act fast because 85 percent of the rooms at each Center City hotel have already been reserved for the DNC and its delegates.

The Westin is a short walk to SEPTA regional rail as well as the subway which can get you to the Wells Fargo Center in under 30 minutes. The hotel is also close to City Hall and if you don't feel like going outside, a door in the lobby will get you to the shops at Liberty Place.

Located in historic Fairmount Park, the Chamounix Mansion is part of the Hosteling International Organization. The mansion was built as a country home in 1802 and sits on a bluff overlooking the Schuylkill River.
