Phillies Activate Cody Asche From 15-Day DL
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Phillies have activated Cody Asche from the 15-day disabled list, the team announced on Thursday.
Asche, 25, hit .245/.294/.395 with 12 homers and 39 RBI's in 129 games with the Phillies last season. In six games at Lehigh Valley (Triple-A) this season, Asche is just 5-25 (.200) with two home runs and four RBI's.
The Phils designated outfielder David Lough for assignment to make room for Asche. They also activated left-handed pitcher Mario Hollands from the 15-day DL on Thursday and optioned him to Lehigh Valley (Triple-A).
