Wildwood Beach Clean Up Gets 'Finding Dory' Theme

By Chelsea Lacey-Mabe

WILDWOOD, N.J. (CBS) – The beach was left trashed this past Memorial Day weekend from the crowds that descended upon the Jersey Shore for the unofficial start of summer. The town of Wildwood however is determined to keep their beaches clean and a forgetful fish named Dory might be able to help their mission.

The blue tang is finally getting her own movie, 13 years after "Finding Nemo" was released. "Finding Dory" hits theaters on June 17.

Volunteers who sign up to help for Wildwood's Beach Clean Up day on June 11 will receive passes for an advance screening of the film while supplies last.

Registration starts at 11:30 on the morning of the event at the Wildwood Convention Center.

The clean up starts at noon and runs until 4 p.m.
