Two Officers, Civilian Injured In Crash In South Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Three people were injured, including two police officers, in a crash Sunday morning in South Philadelphia.

It happened shortly before 8 a.m. at the intersection of 18th Street and Oregon Avenue.

Investigators say a police car was traveling west on Oregon when it was involved in a collision with another vehicle headed north on 18th Street.

Two officers and a civilian were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say the officers were not responding to a call at the time of the accident.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
