PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — If you think vineyards just press grapes and bottle wine, think again. There’s much, much more.

“Enjoy a great performance, a glass of wine and a wonderful view,” said Tom Carroll, the winemaker at The crossing vineyards in Bucks County, his family winery.

He’s excited about the upcoming pairings of 20 wine varieties and the music at a series of summer sunset concerts, accompanied by cheese and chocolate tastings on a picturesque patio. But mostly – it’s about the Crossing wines.

“Come out. Trust your palate. Come with an open mind.”

Visitors agree and find a sense of tranquility in the vineyard.

“I love the ambience, the different flavors of wine – just being in the vineyard.”
