Officials: Individual Who Dropped Bullets In PA High School Was Trying To Cause Early Dismissal

EMMAUS, Pa. (CBS) -- School officials say Emmaus High School remains on an exterior lockdown after bullets were found in a boys' bathroom Monday morning.

Officials say the individual responsible for dropping the bullets has been identified.

They concluded the individual was attempting to disrupt the school day and cause an early dismissal.

No weapons or additional bullets were found, and authorities say there is no threat.

Officials say students will be permitted to move around the building and the school day will soon resume.
