Has Carson Wentz Ever Been Booed? 'Not By My Own Fans'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Going from the king of North Dakota State football to the savior of Philadelphia Eagles football will certainly have its challenges. While there may be a parallel in terms of football passion between the two cities, Philly fans are probably not as forgiving and positive.

Carson Wentz, the Eagles No. 2 overall pick in this year's draft, will have to adapt.

On Friday, 94WIP's Angelo Cataldi asked Wentz if he's ever been booed during his career.

"Um, not by my own fans," Wentz said. "No."

Wentz, a 6-foot, 5-inch 240-pound quarterback doesn't have many weaknesses. He can beat you with his arm, his legs, and his brain. Wentz will concentrate on consistency.

"I think it's just consistency," Wentz said Friday during his 94WIP Morning Show debut. "I think you can always been more efficient with your drops, more efficient with your footwork, and just be cleaner with up because the more consistent you can be with those things the more accurate you'll be. And so those are always things that I'll be constantly working on throughout my career."

If you're wondering if Wentz has the competitive edge necessary to have NFL success, he's never gotten a 'B' in his life.

"Yeah, even since middle school when they started doing A's and B's and everything," Wentz said. "So, I don't know. It's just kind of how I'm wired. I'm competitive in anything I do and that's academics as well. And I always wanted to put my best foot forward so that's why I'm out there approaching it in that regard."
