Doug Pederson On The Draft: 'Trust The Process'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It looks like the Philadelphia Eagles may be channeling their inner Sam Hinkie.

New Eagles head coach Doug Pederson, along with head personnel man Howie Roseman, spoke to the media on Monday morning. When asked about the draft, Pederson used a slogan 76ers fans have debated ad nauseam over the past three years: trust the process.

So with the eighth overall pick in the first-round of the NFL Draft, what is the Eagles' process?

When asked about the quarterback position in particularly, according to Eliot Shorr-Parks and Jeff McLane, Pederson admitted that Paxton Lynch is more of a project and isn't a likely selection for the Eagles at pick No. 8.

Pederson, via Zach Berman, values Carson Wentz and Jared Goff as the top-two QB prospects, with Lynch being a close third.
