Shooting Ends In Crash In Southwest Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a shooting that wounded one person and ended in the arrest of suspect after a crash in Southwest Philadelphia.
Police say an officer actually witnessed the crime which happened around 12:15 a.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of Millick Street.
Authorities say shots were fired from inside a car at a person in front of a home.
Two suspects jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot. The driver sped away, but was taken into custody after crashing into several parked cars at 64th and Grays Avenue.
The victim was hospitalized in stable condition with gunshot wounds to the chest, chin and hand.
Investigators are still searching for the two suspects who ran away.
