76ers Need One Win To Avoid Matching Worst Single-Season Record Ever

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One more win.

That's what the 76ers need to avoid matching the worst single-season record in NBA history.

Heading into tonight's game with Denver, the 76ers sit at 9-62. They have 11 games remaining to get that one win. The record for the worst record in NBA history by the way is held by . . . the 76ers. The 1972-73 squad went 9-73.

Denver is 29-42 this season. The Nuggets beat the 76ers in the other meeting between the two teams this season. Denver grabbed a 108-105 decision at the Center back on December 5th.

KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Tom Moore of the Bucks County Courier Times about another difficult season for the 76ers and what the future holds for the organization.
