The Philadelphia Flower Show Unveils Next Year's Theme

PHILADEPHIA (CBS) -- This year's Philadelphia Flower Show is now just a memory, and organizers are looking ahead to next year's celebration of horticultural creativity.
The theme of next year's Flower Show? Holland.
Pennsylvania Horticultural Society President Matt Rader says you'll see bulbs, plus a number of other things at which the Netherlands excels:
"You can also expect to see ecodesign, as well as modern landscape architecture, and a pretty broad celebration of Dutch history, art, and culture, and how that tradition has both shaped Holland, but also other places in the world, and the U.S.."
Next year's show will be held a bit later in March-- from the 11th through 19th.
"The Flower Show over time has had weather events at different times, and we've always been concerned about trying to make sure that the show is accessible to as many people as possible, so that moving it a little later helps to ensure better weather," said Rader.
Here's hoping Mother Nature gets the memo.
