Fatal Shooting In North Philly; 3 Suspects Wanted By Police

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 22-year-old male was killed in North Philadelphia following two-gun shot wounds to the torso Tuesday night.

Police say this happened just after 8:00 p.m. on the 1400 block of North Vodges Street. The man was pronounced dead shortly after at Presbyterian Hospital.

Witnesses on scene told police three males wearing all black hoodies chased the man north when they began firing shots. Police say the evidence showed at least nine shots were fired from a semi automatic handgun.

Police believe after the victim was shot he ran onto the porch of a home.

According to police all three suspects were last seen running north on the 1400 block of Vodges street.
