Philadelphia Zoo Closes For Cleaning And Maintenance
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- People planning a trip to the Philadelphia Zoo Tuesday will need to change their plans. The zoo is closed for the day.
Zoo officials say they will be doing clean up and maintenance that includes mulching garden beds, animal exhibit work, and clean-up and recycling tasks throughout the campus.
In the afternoon, all staff will participate in emergency preparedness drills.
The zoo will resume normal hours on Wednesday, March 2.
