Black Lives Matter Banners In Front Of Local Church Go Missing For Second Time

CHERRY HILL, NJ (CBS) --   Black Lives Matter banners have disappeared from outside a Cherry Hill church again.

"This time both banners were ripped out. We have filed a police report and will be replacing them," the church wrote on its Facebook page.

Earlier this month, a Black Lives Matter banner promoting an upcoming community discussion went missing.

"We believe that there's a strong need for having this kind of conversation. Ripping down signs does nothing but try to stop the conversation. We need to have this conversation and we need to figure out strategies on how to deal with these problems," said the lay leader for social responsibility at the church.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
