Local Hypnotist Teams Up With Group Helping Abused Women And Children

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A local hypnotist is putting on a show to raise awareness and money for Laurel House which helps abused women and children.

Adam and Eve...Eve Has Her Way is a play with a new twist on a familiar story. Tim Miller of StageHypnosisLive says it's won't be the same old night out.

"We've created a woman empowerment play that's extremely funny," he says, "but it also incorporates audience members who are hypnotized. It's kind of a unique concept."

According to Miller, in addition to the play, the evening will include officials from Laurel House to explain how the Norristown facility helps victims of domestic violence and how you can help them continue that work.

"It pretty much is something that affects people that we all know," Miller says. "I think it's a cool way to have a fun night and have them there to spread their message."

The play is Saturday night at 7:15 at the Hill School in Pottstown and it's free.
