Boy Alleges Man In Vehicle Asked 'Do You Want Candy' And Attempted To Grab Him
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police are investigating after a boy reported a man attempted to grab him after offering him candy.
Authorities say the incident happened Wednesday morning around 7 a.m.
The 10-year-old says he was on the 5300 block of N. 3rd Street when a man in a vehicle stopped him and asked if he wanted some candy.
The boy alleges the male then attempted to grab him by the arm, causing the him to run home.
Authorities are describing the suspect as a white male in his 40's. He has a large stomach, a beard, and was last seen wearing dark glasses and a puffy jacket. The suspect was driving a black car.
