Report: Steelers' Brandon Hunt To Interview For Eagles Personnel Position
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It was nine days ago when Jeffrey Lurie announced the Eagles were search for a new "player personnel head."
Well, finally, a possible candidate for the role has emerged: Steelers' pro scout coordinator Brandon Hunt, according to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reporter Ed Bouchette. The Eagles have not confirmed this.
According to Steelers.com, Hunt began his career as a scouting intern during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. Hunt was hired by the Houston Texans in 2007 to be a pro scout and then later returned to Pittsburgh to be the Steelers' pro scout coordinator.
Hunt was a four-year starting offensive lineman at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 2000-03 (which makes him about 34, 35 years old). Hunt was born in Los Angeles, but attended high school at Pine-Richland in Pittsburgh.
