Another Lawsuit Filed Against Amtrak Over Deadly Train Derailment
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A New Jersey man has filed a lawsuit against Amtrak over the deadly derailment in Philadelphia. The suit claims Joshua Pearlstein of Livingston, Essex County suffered injuries that "harm the quality of his life" when Train #188 jumped the tracks last May. Authorities say the train was traveling more than 100 miles per hour. Eight people were killed and more than 200 others were hurt. The crash remains under investigation.
