Report: Eagles Have No New Head Coach Interviews Planned As Of Now

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- According to Jason La Canfora, the Eagles currently have no new interviews scheduled in their search for a head coach and will regroup. La Canfora believes the team will be waiting until after this week's owners' meeting to continue their quest for a new leader.

The owners will be meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday to vote on the possibility of sending one or two teams (between the Raiders, Chargers and Rams) to Los Angeles in the upcoming season.

La Canfora pointed out that the team was particularly impressed by Doug Pederson who was interviewed on Sunday.

Pederson was a former Eagles quarterback, who started for the team during the beginning of Donovan McNabb's rookie season. Pederson later became an assistant coach for the Eagles under Andy Reid and left with Reid to become his offensive coordinator in Kansas City.

On Monday, the Eagles interviewed Tom Coughlin, the ex-Giants head coach, for the position.

The Eagles have also interviewed Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo, Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and Eagles running backs coach Duce Staley. The team interviewed Dolphins head coach Adam Gase before he took the job in Miami.
