Prosecutors: South Jersey Couple Indicted In Beating Of Man's Young Child

WOODBURY, N.J. (AP) — A southern New Jersey couple accused of seriously injuring the man's young daughter during a visit at their home have been indicted on aggravated assault charges.

Gloucester County prosecutors say Jacob Lihn and Jennifer Pandorf also face child endangerment charges in the indictment handed up by a county grand jury. Telephone numbers for the Washington Township couple could not be located Saturday, and it's not known if they have retained lawyers.

Prosecutors have said Lihn's 2-year-old daughter suffered retinal hemorrhaging and bleeding on the brain in the attack that occurred last April. But they haven't said how the injuries allegedly occurred.

Doctors found the injuries when the girl's mother took her to a hospital after the toddler had a three-day visit with Lihn. She continues to recover from her injuries.
