Police: $348,000 Worth Of Loose Diamonds Stolen In Center City
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are looking for two men they say took a bag filled with diamonds from a man walking in Center City.
It happened at 6:00 in the evening on the 1100 block of Sansom Street.
Authorities say the 44-year-old victim was carrying a shoulder bag containing nearly $350,000 worth of loose diamonds.
Police say the first suspect is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a beard, wearing a black hat and a brown jacket.
There's no description of the second suspect, except that he was wearing a red jacket.
