Police: Son Charged With Murder After Elderly Father Found Dead In Overbrook Home
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a 29-year-old man is in custody after he allegedly killed his elderly father inside their Overbrook home.
It happened on the 5700 block of Woodbine Avenue late Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the 82-year-old victim, identified as Solomon Gethers, was found deceased and with multiple stab wounds to the head.
Detectives arrested the victim's son,Victor Gethers, after a brief investigation.
Authorities say Victor was arrested and charged with his father's murder.
Police say the motive was determined to be a domestic argument.
