Philly Officer Injured When Patrol Car Struck

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A Philadelphia police officer is recovering after the patrol car she was sitting in was rear-ended overnight.

Authorities say she was hit by a driver who crossed into her lane around 1 a.m. on the 76 off-ramp to Passyunk Avenue.

The officer is said to be suffering from back pain and other aches, but she's expected to be fine.

That driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
