New Uber Technology Uses Colors To Help Riders Find Drivers
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Finding a driver for your next drive may have gotten a little easier.
Uber is testing a new technology called "SPOT."
Riders will choose a color inside the Uber app and a light bar of that color will be in the windshield of the Uber car.
It is meant to help riders find their driver in crowded areas and at night.
Uber says, "When riders and drivers can easily find each other, we're able to trim down wait times, which is a win for everyone."
