Week 10: Eagles Studs And Duds
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- When you're coming off an overtime season-saving win, at home against the 3-5 Miami Dolphins---on their second head coach, mind you---up 16-3 after the first quarter...
...you should win the game.
That's a game that you cannot lose.
But somehow, your 2015-16 Philadelphia Eagles, found a way to lose. Because, well, that's what they do.
Duds
3. Mark Sanchez
Sanchez actually played well (14-23, 156 yards), but his horrid end zone interception essentially cost the Eagles' the football game. And man, it was bad.
2. Miles Austin
Not to mention the aforementioned Sanchez interception where Austin didn't exactly give his best effort, but he dropped a first half deep throw from Bradford, failed to drag his second foot in bounds on what would have been a go-ahead touchdown, and finished the game without a catch.
The Eagles' WRs combined for nine catches for 76 yards.
1. Jason Kelce
How many shotgun snaps have gone over the QB's head this season? Four? What is this high-school football?
Bad snaps after bad snaps, putrid run blocking, and below average pass protection. Kelce said it himself.
"You can quote me on that, that was the worst game I've played in my entire life," Kelce said via NJ.com.
Studs
3. Sam Bradford
Before leaving the game, Bradford was playing some of his best football. He was 19-25, for 236 yards, 1 TD, 0 INTs. On his touchdown throw to Josh Huff, Bradford actually used his feet to by his time and make a play. It was very impressive.
2. Brent Celek
Four catches for 134 yards, including a 60 yard catch and run on the Eagles' first offensive play. Where did that come from? Celek just quietly goes about his business.
1. No
This team doesn't deserve a No. 1 stud after that game. So, no. No, no, no, no.
