Girl Killed After Being Run Over By Tractor On Pennsylvania Farm

NOTTINGHAM, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in central Pennsylvania say a young girl was killed when she was run over by a tractor.

Officials in Lancaster County say the 3 or 4-year-old child was riding on the tractor with her father as he raked corn fodder on the Little Britain Township farm.

Fire department and coroner's office investigators said the child fell from the vehicle and was run over at about 10:45 a.m. Friday. Her name was not immediately released.

Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni said it was the fourth fatal farm accident in Lancaster County in 11 days.
