Vehicles Set On Fire In Port Richmond

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Several vehicles were set on fire overnight in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia.

Authorities received a call around 3 a.m. Monday from neighbors near the intersection of Janney and East Tioga Streets.

Neighbors told investigators that someone stuffed rags inside the gas tanks of at least two vehicles and then lit them of fire.

One of the neighbors ran out of a home, grabbed a garden hose and quickly doused the flames.

The fire marshal in investigating.
