Crossing Guard And School Board Member Accused Of Possessing, Distributing Child Pornography
MAGNOLIA, NJ (CBS) – Authorities say a crossing guard and school board member in Magnolia has been arrested for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography.
According to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, 80-year-old Rudolph F. Kube was charged after detectives executed a search warrant at his home.
Authorities say detectives found several hard drives containing images and videos of child pornography.
Kube, who officials say is a crossing guard and member of the Magnolia School District Board of Education, was charged with one count each of possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography.
Officials say the investigation began after detectives monitoring a peer-to-peer file sharing program saw videos of child pornography were being downloaded from an IP address associated with Kube's home.
Detectives were also able to download videos of child pornography from a shared folder associated with the IP address.
Kube's bail is set at $100,000 full cash.
