Police: 14-Year-Old Shot In Head In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a 14-year-old boy is hospitalized after he was shot in the head in North Philadelphia.
Philadelphia Police say it happened at about 8:40 p.m. Monday at the 1200 block of N. 10th Street.
Authorities sa the 14-year-old boy was bleeding heavily from a gunshot wound to his forehead and was taken to the hospital and placed in critical condition.
While transporting the victim to Hahneman Hospital, authorities say what appears to be a BB Gun fell from his clothing.
Police say they are looking into surveillance video from a nearby building that may help the investigation.
No arrests have been made at this time.
