Police: 1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Kensington Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating after they say two people were shot in Kensington Wednesday morning.
Authorities say shortly after 11 a.m., police responded to the 1800 block of Monmouth Street for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police say the first victim is a 19-year-old female who was shot once under the arm. Authorities say she was taken to Temple Hospital in unknown condition.
Officials say the second victim is a 21-year-old man who was shot once in the chest. Police say he was taken to Temple Hospital and pronounced dead around 11:39 a.m.
No word on a motive or suspect at this time.
