PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- In anticipation of the Pope's arrival, Twitter has unveiled special emojis for users tweeting about the Pontiff's first visit to the United States.

Each city is a stop on Pope Francis' American tour and is accompanied with a city-specific landmark. Tweets with #PopeInUS render an emoji of a smiling pontiff in front of a U.S. flag, emojis for #PopeInDC which shows the U.S. Capitol, #PopeInNYC has the Statue of Liberty and #PopeInPhilly displays the Liberty Bell.

In the past week, Twitter has measured 58,000 total tweets with the hashtag #PopeInUS and more tweets are expected when he touches down in the U.S. later today.
