Police: Man Shot While Getting Out Of Car In Northeast Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a shooting that killed a man in Northeast Philadelphia.
It happened just before 2 p.m. Saturday in the 4000 block of East Chelteham Avenue in the Wissinoming section of the city.
Police say a 41-year-old man, identified as Benjamin Sheppard, was getting out of his car when he was shot multiple times.
He was rushed to the hospital. He was pronounced dead at 2:36 p.m. Saturday afternoon
Police say there is no motive or known suspects at this time.
