New Search Warrant Executed At AG Kane's Office

HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) — Agents from the Montgomery County DA's office have again executed a search warrant at the Harrisburg offices of Pennsylvania's attorney general.

Attorney General Kathleen Kane was charged last month by Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman with perjury and other offenses related to violations of grand jury secrecy. Kane's spokesman Chuck Ardo says agents from Ferman's office returned to the AG's Harrisburg offices Thursday morning.

"I can confirm that agents from the Montgomery County district attorney's office came to the offices of the attorney general about 11 am…served a search warrant, and our office cooperated fully with the warrant and the agents."

Ardo says the agents spent about three hours in the executive offices of the attorney general's operation but not in the suite offices occupied by Attorney General Kane.
