WB Schuylkill Expressway Closed At Rt. 1 Due To Crash
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Officials say one person was killed following a crash involving a truck and another vehicle on the Schuylkill Expressway.
Chopper 3 was over the scene of the accident on the Schuylkill Expressway approaching Route 1.
Authorities say the crash happened just after 2 p.m. Tuesday. They add that one victim was taken to Presbyterian Hospital and died as a result of the accident.
Officials say I-76 westbound lanes to northbound Rt. 1 Roosevelt Expressway are closed as crews work to clear the scene.
The driver of the truck is being held by authorities for questioning.
