Dr. J Appearing At Philly U. Youth Basketball Clinic

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Salvation Army Kroc Center on Wissahickon Avenue will be the sight of a youth basketball clinic this morning being held by Philadelphia University's men's and women's basketball teams.
Philly U. Athletic Director and women's basketball coach Tom Shirley says there's a lot in store:
"We're looking forward to taking our men's and women's basketball teams over there with about five players from each team and spending about an hour with the youngsters in the community offering basic basketball skills."
The one and only Julius Erving will be on hand as well. He will hold a Q&A with about 80 kids from community centers across the city.
This will be a busy couple of days for Dr. J. He also will host a black tie event and a golf outing to benefit the Salvation Army.
