Tim Tebow Heads Back To TV After Being Released

By Ray Boyd

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- We all wondered about the fate of Tim Tebow as he worked to earn a spot on the 2015 Philadelphia Eagles. This past weekend, Chip Kelly told the world that he did not think Tebow was good enough to be the team's third-string quarterback and released him.

Tebow was out of football for two years before Kelly gave him another shot. Following his release, it is fair to wonder if he'll ever get another chance to play in the NFL. In the meantime, Tebow won't be far from football.

He announced on Twitter on Wednesday that he will be heading back to the SEC Network to continue working as an analyst.

Tebow will return to television Saturday, September 12 and will continue working with the network's traveling pregame coverage.
